Surface treatment
Depending on the casting method, the finished products must undergo further processing.
The first step is to cut off the ingot systems and overflows. We do this on special saws equipped with cutting tapes that ensure optimum cutting quality. We pay special attention to this in order not to damage the casting.
Aluminium grinding is a difficult, laborious and demanding surface treatment. Depending on the requirements, we carefully and responsibly select the right abrasives and adapt the right method for the job. Due to the fact that most of our castings have complex shapes, this process is carried out manually.
On the other hand, simple elements are refined using specially designed belt grinders. In order to ensure the highest quality of surface finish, we also offer product refinement in special vibration drums.
