CMM Measurements

Coordinate measurements

In order to ensure the highest standards of our castings, they are subjected to detailed and careful quality control. A team of specialists checks each batch produced, verifying that production conforms to the initial technical drawing.

The manufacturing process is controlled directly in the production departments and in a modern equipped laboratory. At the same place, they are evaluated on professional measuring equipment from renowned companies Zeiss and Mitutoyo.

CMMs (coordinate measuring machines) analyse the shape of a casting to an accuracy of one micrometre. This enables us to control the smallest detail in the products we make for our customers.

Furthermore, each individual casting is examined with a spectrometer to check the chemical composition of the elements in the aluminium alloy.

Experience
in research

The strength of our laboratory is its specialised knowledge of defectoscopy, i.e. the detection of internal material discontinuities.

Any defects in the material are then found, such as inclusions, corrosion losses, voids, cracks, delaminations, scales, fissures, lack of fusion, etc.

For this purpose, we use the X-ray defectoscopy method. This allows us to detect all internal defects in the castings and to eliminate them in good time.
